DLSU-D stands out in La Salle Trivia Challenge

DLSU-D topped in the first La Salle Trivia Challenge participated in by the Lasallian Schools all over the country last September 16 at La Salle University- Ozamiz in Mindanao.
Organized by La Salle University-Ozamiz with its president Br. Jaime Dalumpines, FSC on the lead, the trivia challenge was anchored to the Centennial Celebration: “Remembering the Past, Living the Present and Creating the Future”.
As part of the 100th anniversary of the Lasallian Presence in the Philippines, the competition aims to acquaint historical facts, people and events that are relevant to the centenary celebration and to foster camaraderie among members of the Lasallian community across the country.
De La Salle University – Dasmarinas representatives John Jefferson Besa, an 18-year-old aspirant of the De La Salle Brothers from HUB 41 and Kenny Alegno, 19, a fifth-year accountancy student, paved their way to getting the first place. The team's coach is the Director of the University Lasallian Family Office Ms. Gemma P. Gosgolan. De La Salle Health Sciences Institute won second place led by Rhaymar Fiesta, nursing student and Ma. Christina Cuenca, a Rad-Tech student. They were coached by the Lasallian Formation and Social Action Office Director Ms. Myra A. Patambang. The host of the event, La Salle University Ozamiz, placed the third spot.
Participating schools include: College of St. Benilde, DLSU-Manila, DLS-Canlubang, DLS-Lipa, John Bosco College in Bislig, De La Salle University – Dasmarinas, De La Salle Health Sciences Institute and La Salle University Ozamiz.
