Three students from De La Salle-Dasmariñas bagged top prizes at the Lasallian Art Contest, an international competition among students of De La Salle schools around the world aimed at depicting the pivotal message: “Let us remember that we are in the Holy Presence of God,” through the creation of posters that highlight its meaning and interpretation.
The three international winners all came from DLSU-D entries. First place honors went to Reggie Joseph Arciaga while Jessu
Erica Marie Bravante took second place. Rounding up the winners' circle was Janine Micah Vicente who got third place.
The contest, which recently concluded its third year sought to harmonize the messages of faith and creativity to provide a venue for students to apply their artistic skills to the creation of new artworks depicting St. John Baptist de La Salle and his life. The contest also became a platform for the participants to learn more about who he was and why he is held in such esteem by students, educators, and schools around the world.
Winners of the contest received $250, $100 and $50, respectively.
