DLSU-D campaign charts Anvil win

In its bid to promote environmental initiatives geared toward combating climate change, De La Salle University-Dasmariñas’ Black Out.Green In., campaign was given the much coveted Anvil Award of Merit for the PR Program- on a sustained basis, Environment/Sustainable Development Category at the 48th Anvil Awards held at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel.
The 48th Anvil Awards, organized by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines, is considered the Oscars of the Public Relations industry. It is an annual event that seeks to honor outstanding campaigns that inform, advocate and promote ideas, brands or products.
According to the executive summary of the University’s entry, the Black Out. Green In. campaign was created to promote DLSP’s Project Carbon Neutral in DLSU-D. The drive sought to educate and challenge the community to become involved in efforts to counteract climate change and its ill effects.
