As part of the nationwide celebration of the National Environmental Awareness and Education Month, De La Salle University-Dasmariñas is spearheading activities to involve the DLSU-D community in sustainable initiatives and promote awareness on various contributions that each member can make in the global drive towards a greener planet.

Aside from observing usual fossil free practices like switching off lights and other resources that are not being used within the University, the University will observe the 5-day Eco-challenge from November 24-28.



DATE ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
November 24 Meatless Monday Reduce carbon emission by minimizing or completely inhibiting consumption of meat products.
November 25 Tsinelas Tuesday Walk around campus and get a better connection to Mother Earth by wearing slippers to school.
November 26
Wa-Fi Wednesday You don't need gadgets to connect all the time. Go old school from 12pm-1pm, as the ICTC switches off Wi Fi networks within the University.
November 27 Tsikot-free Thursday Make this day fossil-free. Carpool, commute, walk or bike to school to minimize carbon emissions and energy consumption.
November 28 Meet-less Friday No meetings means less energy spent on power, meals and other resources. Go meet-less today.
