Religious Education faculty delivers paper in ASEACCU

Dr. Henry L. Bernardo, faculty and former chair of the Religious Education Department, presented his research in the ongoing 23rd Association of South East Asian Catholic Universities and Colleges (ASEACCU) Annual Conference in Semarang, Indonesia.
The paper of Dr. Bernardo entitled “Welcoming the ‘Other’: Interreligious Dialogue in Catholic Higher Education Institutions in Cavite” concludes that educational institutions are potent instruments in the promotion of interreligious dialogue particularly in the area of education for peace. The four-day conference from August 26-29 featured paper presentations anchored on the theme “Catholic Higher Education and Religious Inclusiveness”.
The 23rd ASEACCU Annual Conference was participated by 112 participants from 48 colleges and universities in eight countries.
The DLSU-D delegation is headed by Dr. Myrna F. Ramos, Vice Chancellor for Mission, External Affairs and Advancement with Dr. Henry L. Bernardo and Nathaniel S. Golla, Director of the University Advancement Office.
