Young Educators' Congress 2015 from Dec. 3-4

The Professional Education Department (PFD) of the College of Education (COEd) will be spearheading the Fifth Young Educators' Congress 2015 with the theme: "21st Century Skills for Teachers: From Power Teaching to Power Learning."
This congress will feature a seminar and research presentations anchored on the theme, quiz bee on professional education subjects and contests on demo-teaching, jazz chant, and storytelling, which will be held on December 3-4, 2015 (Thursday and Friday) from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Ugnayang La Salle.
This congress aims to keep the participants abreast on the current information and trends relevant to the Grade 4 and 10 K to 12 Curriculum Framework especially on teaching strategies appropriate in a K to 12 classroom; give them opportunity to review on the professional education subjects that they have taken through the quiz bee in preparation for the licensure examination for teachers (LET); and, provide them a venue to showcase their authentic skills in paper presentation, performing demonstration teaching, jazz chant, and storytelling.
This congress invites education students (second year to fourth year), faculty members, and administrators/school heads from the different universities and colleges within and outside Cavite for a registration fee of three hundred fifty pesos only (P350.00) to defray the expenses for certificates, kits, handouts, venues, sound system, prizes and speakers' honoraria.
