The Information and Technology Center (ICTC), in partnership with Microsoft Philippines will launch Office 365 for students of DLSU-D as well as unveil the improved myDLSU-D portal on December 7, 2015 from 9 am - 12 pm at the Salrial Ballroom of the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management.
Among the features that students will get to enjoy are free access to Office 365 features like updated Office 2016 apps for PC and Mac. Users can also get unlimited access to Office 365 across devices like PCs, tablets, and mobile devices.
With Office 365, they can also avail of online services like file storage and sharing through a 1TB personal cloud storage that is accessible anywhere. Aside from having Microsoft Office on their personal units and devices, they can also access this online.
Making reports and presentations can also be more engaging with the use of Sway, a new app offered by Office 365 that levels up the quality outputs.
The unveiling of the new myDLSUD portal on the other hand, will introduce a new user interactive design that takes into consideration the various needs of portal users within DLSU-D, which in addition to becoming more navigable, is now mobile friendly.
Among the new features of the myDLSUD portal is the user access control where different categories of users are given different levels of access while features are specifically designed to cater to the needs of each user classification. For college or high school faculty, to students from college, senior and junior high, to members of the staff and for parents and guardians, each feature is designed to meet the requirements of the users.
Finally, the ICTC will discuss the planned centralized account log in to make it more convenient for students and faculty to access various services in the University.
