DLSU-D welcomes Spanish Ambassador

As part of its initiative to enhance its cooperation with members of the diplomatic community, De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) will be visited by the Ambassador of Spain to the Philippines His Excellency Luis Antonio Calvo Castaño on March 2, 2016.
Ambassador Castaño will deliver a lecture in a special forum called Ambassador’s Address at the Luis Aguado Viewing Room of the Aklatang Emilio Aguinaldo from 9:00 am - 10:00 am. He will tackle the topic: “The Impact of Education on the Economy of the Future.” His audience will include select administrators and students from the Colleges of Education, Liberal Arts and Communication and Business Administration and Accountancy.
After his lecture, the Ambassador will tour the campus and visit the Museo De La Salle. A lunch reception will be held at the Centennial Hall where the Ambassador will meet with DLSU-D President and Chancellor Br. Augustine L. Boquer FSC and other administrators to discuss possible areas of partnership and engagement.
Ambassador Castaño will be accompanied by Dr. Carlos Madrid, Director of the Instituto Cervantes de Manila and Mr. Fernando Zapico, Technical Adviser on Education, Embassy of Spain.
