The Lasallian Community Development Center is enjoining the entire Lasallian community to wear white on September 28, 2016 to support the Lasallian stand for peace and of human rights.
Based on the memorandum released by LCDC Director Nena Caspe, the wearing of white shirts is a symbol of support for the Lasallians for Peace and Human Rights activity scheduled for September 28 from 4-6 pm.
The activity is aimed at making a unified stand against the culture of death by upholding the truth as espoused by the Lasallian Guiding Principles (LGP) on Social Development and the Pastoral Letter of Br. Jose Mari Jimenez, FSC.
Aside from wearing white shirts, the Social Transformation through Advocacy and Reforms (STAR) advocacy arm of the LCDC, will spearheaded activities like procession, candle lighting and prayer at the University Chapel.
The measure has been endorsed and approved by the Vice Chancellors for Mission, External Affairs and Advancement, Vice Chancellors for Academics and the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administrative Service.
