DLSU-D recognizes the role of the youth in achieving national progress; thus, besides the student services that the university offers, student organizations are founded to train Christian, competent, committed, confident, and compassionate Lasallian leaders. Variety of the recognized interest and college organizations of the Council of Student Organizations and the Performing Arts Group of the Cultural Arts Office are formed to enhance and maximize academic, social, cultural, religious, literary and recreational facets of the students. To empower Lasallian students, organize and promote activities, and represent the student body, the University Student Council is structured, together with other college and program councils. To ensure smooth and upright election, the Student Commission on Elections takes the frontier. The rundown of student organizations and government join forces in most instances to serve an example of co-existing with others and learn and teach unity. This is done through joint projects and support system project campaigns. Though thrusting on different types of skills, activities, and service, the student organizations are anchored to a common mission of molding the youth in reaching out others, especially the students and the underprivileged community through scholarships and outreach programs.
